Gurus or common sense? You name it
I am always surprised each time I read an article that talks about someone and describing him as THE source of knowledge in a certain field I am interested in.
Most of the times what surprises me the most is that it is the first time I have seen that name! Not that I should know every person, but if it is a field I am interested in, at least I try to know who should be my guiding lights and whose ideas I should follow to forge my own opinions and expectations.
This was the feeling when a good friend of mine sent me a video on Public Relations by a guy called Seth Godin. It is incredible how this 48 minutes video of his speech for Google’s top marketing manager can change your perception on public relations and marketing.

A new blog has born
Until now I had the feeling that blogs were just a fashionable thing to have and blogs were in the same buzzword category as AJAX and WEB 2.0… all in all… vapourware.
Something that would come and go without engraving its name in history and in 10 years nobody would remember what blogs are. Nevertheless, it seems that blogs are getting more and more popular and have passed from being a trendy thing to the most popular way of publishing and creating content on the Internet nowadays.
Given those facts I cannot pretend that blogs are not here to stay and I have decided to start my own to gather my thoughts on random topics. Much like a diary where I would write down random things I would like to be able to find later.
We will see where it all goes…
