Nerds will always be nerds … :)
I received by mail this easter image and I liked it because it is really nerdy
What is best, is that those apparently random numbers hide an occult meaning

01-APR-07 Ryanair Announces Low Fare Space Flights
Ryanair, Europe’s largest low fares airline today (1st Apr) announced that it intends to start a second space race by offering low fare flights to the moon to compete with Virgin Galactic. The Ryanair Orbital space shuttle is expected to be operational by mid 2008 and is available for immediate booking on www.ryanair.com.
When Richard Branson launched Virgin Galactic in 2004 he said it “will be run as a business, but a business with the sole purpose of making space travel more and more affordable.” Ryanair has been studying this market and believes that if anybody is going to make travel affordable either on the earth or off it, no one will do it better than Ryanair.
Launching Ryanair’s space programme, Head of Ryanair Orbital, Mr Stan Grenoli said:
“Today we boldly go where no airline has gone before by offering low fare flights to the moon. The Ryanair Orbital Space Shuttle will commence low fare operations circling the moon in 2008, at a fraction of the high fares currently being touted by Virgin Galactic.
“Ryanair has also been talking to NASA about a keenly priced feeder service for its planned base on the lunar South Pole. By 2020, Ryanair Orbital aims to make the Moon as attractive a holiday destination as Alicante or Malaga.
“Passengers wishing to take a giant leap for mankind without making a giant dent in their bank balance should log onto www.ryanair.com immediately, and reach for the stars from just 1c*.”
Ryanair’s website has a picture relating to Ryanair space travel, which when click goes to a “GOTCHA” page with an offer of free flights

Educational videos by Google
Google has started to put online some of the tech talks they are holding for their workers. There are quite a few presentations that are worth the time and provide a very nice insight in the state-of-the-art technology that is around us
For now my favourite picks are those, but you can find many more here.
- Pipes: The service by Yahoo! for creating mashups
- A new way to look at Networking
- Debugging backwards in time
- Performance tuning, best practices for MySQL
- Advanced Python or Understanding Python
- How to design a good API and why it matters
Enjoy and if you find any video that is worth a look, please… let me know!
