- The Linguist List
- Classic Encyclopedia
- Virtual Reference Shelf
- MedBioWorld: Información médica y biotecnológica
- Library Spot
- iTools
- WWW Virtual Library
- Open Site
- CredoReference
- Internet Public Library
- Infoplease
- Mathematica
- Refdesk
- AskOxford
- eXtension
- CIA Factbook
- Martindale’s: The Reference Desk

Impressive voices on TV!
Normally, I tend to be wary of the popular TV shows that pretend to take ordinary people from the street and market them as artists. At least in Spain these programmes are cattered to a not very educated audience and when the soon-to-be artists cannot fulfill the audience expectations of the channel, the producers rely on bad taste and sometimes offensive criticism from the jury to lift the audience and build word of mouth advertising.
This has contributed to my surprise when I found about Paul Potts on YouTube. I first heard of him in an advertisement on the radio on the way back home from the office, and was curious to hear more of him. Well, I can only say that I was really surprised with him and his voice, and with the respect and admiration that the jury showed after his performance.
And while at it, I found another video of an 11 years old girl that left me speechless. You have to see her singing to understand it! Where does her voice come from?! I sincerly hope we will hear of Bianca Ryan soon again!
